Halloween Party in San Jose Fundraises $1,200.00 Dollars
October 18, 2008, San Jose, CA--Michael Lieberman and Larry Staudte generously opened their home with state of art halloween decoration. It was not your typical haunted house. The jacuzzi was blood red and the yard decorated with humorous tombstones and skeletons. Creepy life-sized figures stood throughout the house freaking out the party-goers. There was great food with Halloween theme and all were heartily, or scarily,
consumed. People dressed up in creative constumes which were hard to compete with. One of our board members, Ken Arcia, showed up as Elvis! Our executive director, Julie Rems-Smario, showed up dressed like Super Nanny, with “Behave” sign, but everyone thought she was Sarah Palin! It was an evening filled with scary FUN! Thank you Mike and Larry for fundraising $1,200.00 for DeafHope!! We look forward to next year!
