Honoring Marie Smith

Sweet Marie will forever be our DeafHope angel. Her memorial service today was such a gift to us all, a beautiful gathering of the Deaf community she so loved.

Reiki for Survivors – Thanks to Ami from DOVE

DeafHope is thrilled welcome Ami Garry from DOVE to share a special Healing Spaces workshop on Reiki.  Our morning together was full of connection and information.  Thank you for sharing your talents Ami!

NorCal’s DV Advocate Training

Many thanks to the fabulous team at NorCal! We spent last week together for our 40-hour domestic violence advocate training. The DeafSafe program is a wonderful resource for survivors in Sacramento and surrounding areas.

DeafHope Announces 2016 Training Dates!

DeafHope’s DVSV Training will be offered three times in 2016

2016-DVSV-Training

Attendance at all three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)  is required.

If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into the Oakland Airport and staying at the Downtown Oakland Courtyard Marriott hotel.  It is near public transportation and only a short driving distance to our office. Click here for their website.
